Artists! Move in with us at LeeFest 2014.

Summer is nearly upon us and we’re more than a little stoked to be returning to our favourite not-for-profit music and arts festival, LeeFest, to party and get arty in the leafy fields of South London. Once again, team ShellsuitZombie will be running our very own creative space as well as helping Lee to curate site art over the weekend.

This year we’re taking our love-in to the next level since we first shacked up back in 2012 – we’re going to MOVE IN, and we want you to be our arty roommates who aren’t scared to spill paint on the carpets and draw all over mum’s 70s wallpaper.

That’s right, this year we’re going to build ourselves a ‘house’ on site, complete with its own garden, picket fence and washing line, decorated inside and out with your art, design, illustration sculpture… anything goes round ours. We won’t even ask you to take your shoes off.

The theme for our space this year is “Make Yourself at Home.”

We’re looking for pieces that remind us of all the weird and wonderful things we love most about home. Creepy family portraits, beat up board games, sleepovers, cryptic fridge magnet messages, living room furniture forts, we want it all. Our area will be somewhere where revellers can drop in to get creative, so we’d love your creations to be interactive, too.

Deadline: June 15th at Midnight.

You have until June 15th at midnight to send us your idea(s). If you’re selected, you’ll then have three weeks to build your dream or prepare what you need in time for the start of the festival on July 11th. Our selected artists will receive a FREE pair of weekend camping tickets to Leefest and a full feature on the ShellsuitZombie website. Plus you get to hang out with us weirdos.

We can’t wait to see what you come up with! You can also check out what we got up to last year here and here.

Last year’s Zombiemobile.
