Blimey, New York is well steep.

French photographer Romain Laurent [via psfk] braved New York’s highly inclined streets to take these cunning photos in a series entitled Tilt.  Not quite sure how he did it (are they actually falling over?), but I really like the nonchalant expressions on some of his subjects.  In the age of computer generated imagery, what’s wrong with a bit of genuine, old school photo trickery – like the tilt shift technique that makes real scenes seem like miniature models, or the light graffiti you can make with a long exposure lens and a bike light.
