The Makerversity is a creative workspace within Somerset House – they call it ‘Factory-on-Thames’, which I think is quite neat. It’s a creative, collaborative space for people who make things, whether those things be physical or digital or anything else.
I was there recently for a quick talk on 3D printing, and after we’d all cooed over some printers it was time to take some artsy photos of the place. Sadly, no pics of the 3D printers. One of them was MADE OF WOOD. The things we can do these days.
You can find out more about the Makerversity on their very informative (and beautifully designed) website.
