Mad Skills Monday 031: Jamie Tobin

Welcome to Mad Skills Monday, where we showcase top work from young creatives to bring some creative inspiration to beat the post-weekend blues. Today we have some naïve but detailed artworks from illustrator Jamie Tobin.

Power tool: Any pencil I can find. The little blue ones from Argos!
Power song: Opposite of Low by Turtle. I do love folk though.
Power snack: Steak and Ale pie. 4 x a day.

Currently based in Cheltenham, Jamie Tobin is an illustration student who draws and paints fun, free-spirited scenes that range from sweet and humorous to sinister. A constant sketcher, his work has been realised into comics, zines and even tattoos! Keep your eyes peeled for his work next month, when he’ll be releasing a short comic book through Opposite the Alley Press.
