Mad Skills Monday 035: Natasha Phipps

Welcome to Mad Skills Monday, where we showcase top work from young creatives to bring some creative inspiration to kick off your new week. Today we present mysterious illustrations and typography from Natasha Phipps.

Power tool: H2 pencil, a fine liner and a Wacom tablet
Power song: Well Thought Out Twinkles – Silversun Pickups
Power snack: A breakfast burrito!

Illustration student Natasha Phipps conjures bizarre, smoke-like images of creatures and natural forms, often reminiscent of fantasy works like Pan’s Labyrinth. This style of twisting, curved shapes with sharp edges are also adapted in her very distinctive typographic work.
