Mad Skills Monday 045: Ross Gillan

Welcome to Mad Skills Monday, where we showcase top work from young creatives to bring some inspiration to beat the post-weekend blues. Today the occult clashes with the contemporary in the digital collages and videos of Ross Gillan.

Power tool: Photoshop and persistence
Power song: Lindsay Lowend – Ashtray, Royksopp & Robyn – Do it Again (Moullinex remix)
Power snack: Starbucks chilled lattes & pasta salads

Having been blown away by the creativity demonstrated by Gray’s School of Art’s appearance at D&AD New Blood, we were super stoked to have one of its exhibitors, Ross Gillan, get in touch. Ross is a digital designer who works with images, videos and post-production and draws inspiration from counterculture, 1980′s aesthetics and belief systems. These are all combined using photography, collage, illustration and animation amongst other mediums.
