Mad Skills Monday 072: Isabella Bunnell

Welcome to Mad Skills Monday, where we showcase top work from young creatives to bring you some inspiration and beat the post-weekend blues. This week we look at the painted illustrations of Isabella Bunnell.

Power Tools: Gouache / Pencils / Photoshop
Power Song: The Oogum Boogum Song – Brenton Wood
Power Snack: Avocado on anything

Using a limited colour palette and flowing brushstrokes, Glasgow-based illustrator Isabella Bunnell creates beautiful, harmonious scenes you’ll want to jump into. Her work playfully experiments with different textures and often fills the page with crowds or patterns of various things, like voluptuous characters, fresh plants, bulky cars and cute cats.
