Mad Skills Monday is here again, and today we’re showing you the work of Joe Kibria.
Joe is an art director at J. Walter Thompson London. In his spare time, he creates landscapes like these using digital line work and a limited colour palette.
Power Tools: fat lines and Photoshop
Power Song: Slaves – The Hunter
Power Snack: cigarettes and sweet potato fries
It’s hard to be hungover when you look at Joe’s designs. The colour blends and gradients are just beautiful. There’s a real sense of depth and distance, created by just straight lines. It’s a bit hypnotic. If you want to sit and stare at this post for a bit, we wouldn’t blame you.
Want us to show off your mad skills? We’re always looking for young creatives, students and graduates to showcase for our Monday feature, so send us an email with some samples or a portfolio link with the subject line “Mad Skills Monday” to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll check you out!
